Finally. After all the rumors and speculations, Apple has signed a deal with China Unicom to bring the iPhone to China later this year. However, contrary to previous reports, China Unicom did not sign an exclusive agreement with Apple. This means Apple may still enter into another agreement with any of China Unicom’s competitors. China Unicom is China’s second largest carrier with an estimated 141 million subscribers.
Macworld reported the release of Facebook 3.0 for the iPhone/iPod touch which new features such as the new home screen, landscape mode ability, and direct video uploads from the iPhone 3GS, just to name a few.
