With less than 13 hours to go, things are revving up for Apple’s “It’s only rock and roll…” event, scheduled to start at 10AM Pacific Time or September 10, 1AM Manila Time.

iPodNN reported that an event banner was put up during the Labor Day weekend at the Yerba Buena Center. The banner has the same image with the invitation sent to the media.

In the meantime, last minute rumors have reaffirmed that there will be cameras on the iPod touch and iPod nano. This is contrary to reports of a delay due to ‘technical issues’. AppleInsider has the scoop from John Gruber who said that cameras on the two devices are “sure thing bets”. He also speculates that the iPod touch will receive the same RAM and processor speeds as the current iPhones and that the device will come in 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB models, priced at $199, $299, and $399 , respectively. Check out AppleInsider for more of Gruber’s personal speculations.

I hope to see an updated iTunes that supports 64-bit and has an improved Applications pane.
