After being crowned as the ‘undisputed’ leader in customer satisfaction by the CFI Group, the iPhone once again take top honors, this time in both personal and business use.

A J.D. Power and Associates survey had personal-use consumers give the iPhone high marks in four categories, ease of operation, operating system, features and physical design, but only got two out of five stars when it came to battery life. Apple lead the pack with 811 points out of a possible 1000. LG followed with 776 and in third, with 759 points, was BlackBerry. Business users gave the iPhone high marks as well: with Apple scoring 803 out of 1000, followed by BlackBerry with 724.

On a related note, the iPhone has taken 21% of Australian smartphone market share, according to an IDC report. Apple is behind Nokia and ahead of BlackBerry in terms of smartphone rankings. An IDC telecommunications analyst also mentioned that the iPhone has spurred shipments to Australia from other smartphone manufacturers in hopes of keeping up with Apple.
