Apple has released two more updates since I blogged about Safari 4.0.3 and Multi-Touch Trackpad 1.1 for Windows yesterday.

Security Update 2009-004 is recommended for all users and improves the security of Mac OS X. The update addresses an issue where “a remote attacker may be able to cause the DNS server to unexpectedly terminate.” For more details, go to Apple’s Security Updates page.

The update can be downloaded via Software Update or direct from Apple’s Support Downloads page.

Previous security updates have been incorporated into this security update.

Apple also released AirPort Client Update for MacBook and MacBook Pro which is “recommended for some Intel-based Macintosh computers running Mac OS X v10.5.8 and addresses an issue with AirPort performance while running on battery power. It may only be installed on:”

  • MacBook (13-inch, Late 2007)
  • MacBook (13-inch, Early 2008)
  • MacBook (13-inch, Late 2008)
  • MacBook Pro (15-inch, Early 2008)
  • MacBook Pro (17-inch, Early 2008)
  • MacBook Pro (17-inch, Late 2008)

Available via Software Update (if your system is on the list, that is) or via Apple’s Support Download page (1.7MB).
