Touted as the world’s most energy-efficient desktop computer, the new Mac minis are faster, capable of more storage, and comes with twice the memory as standard. There’s also the option to configure the Mac mini to run as a server.

The entry level Mac mini comes with a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB memory, 160GB storage, double-layer SuperDrive, and 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics shared memory with the main memory. The 2.53GHz model has twice the memory and twice the hard drive capacity as compared to the entry level Mac mini.
The server model is configured with Mac OS X Server comes with two 500GB 5400 rpm serial ATA drives for a total of 1TB. The server model gives up the SuperDrive to fit in the extra 500GB hard drive.
The Mac mini has five USB ports, a FireWire 800 port, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The mini-DVI port and Mini DisplayPort can be used simultaneously to run two displays at the same time. Mini DisplayPort and mini-DVI output supports DVI, dual-link DVI, and VGA video via adapters. A Mini-DVI to DVI adapter comes with every Mac mini.

Audio features include a built-in speaker, combined optical digital audio output/headphone out, and combined optical digital audio input/audio line in. Wireless communications include AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi (802.11n) and Bluetooth 2.1 + Enhanced Data Rate. All new Macs come with the latest Mac OS X Snow Leopard operating system and iLife, a suite of multimedia applications for creation, editing, and management of photos, music, and videos.
The 2.26 GHz Mac mini is priced at ₱33,990 and the 2.53GHz model is at ₱44,990. The Mac mini server model retails for ₱55,990. All have estimated shipping times of three business days. Check out Apple Online Store Philippines for more details.
