Big in Japan, short in Canada and Australia
A survey conducted last month placed the iPhone 3GS as the most popular phone in Japan. Conducted by a subsidiary of market research company GfK, the survey showed the 32GB iPhone 3GS in the top spot and the 16GB version in ninth.
In the meantime, both Canada and Australia are running out of iPhone 3GS stock. Canada’s Rogers announced that they once again have ran out of iPhone 3GS but they are still taking orders and are filling back orders on a priority basis. This is in light of Apple’s COO Tim Cook’s warning last month that they might not be able to keep up with demand for the iPhone 3GS in some parts of the world.
