Kensington announced the Charging Dock with Mini Battery Pack for iPhone and iPod which can simultaneously recharge an iPhone or iPod and the included Mini Battery Pack and Charger. The mini battery pack is a 1000mAH Lithium-ion polymer battery that can extend a 3rd generation iPod nano’s play time up to 30 hours of music and 6 hours of video. On the iPhone, talk time can be extended as much as 3 hours. One disadvantage of the battery pack is that it blocks the headphone ports on the iPod touch and iPod nano. 
Included in the package is a detachable USB charging and syncing cable, a USB wall adapter, and an iPhone 3G dock insert. The dock works with all iPhone models, including iPhone 3GS, as well as all iPods with a Dock Connector.
