You’re probably sick and tired of my posts about Globe for the past few weeks. Don’t worry, I’m about to give up on the iPhone 3GS that I reserved two weeks ago. I’ll say my last piece about that soon and move on. Besides, there’s that MacBook Pro…
There is just something about Globe Telecom that strikes me as odd. Here’s a multi-million (or is it multi-billion?) peso company who does a shitty job on the website. For example, this week when I visited Globe’s website, I saw something that I couldn’t pass up:

You can go to Globe’s homepage and see for yourself.
Maybe it’s something the Marketing department specifically requested for or maybe it’s the graphic designer invoking his or her artistic license or maybe someone at Globe is disgruntled because he or she didn’t get her iPhone 3GS yet. Perhaps it’s supposed to mean that these handsets are so big on discounts that they flipped! If someone could give me a better explanation, I’d very much appreciate it.
Please understand that I don’t have anything against Globe Telecom. The iPhone 3GS is late but that’s ok. It’s not their fault. It’s people who wants the iPhone 3GS who are at fault.
These are just funny or silly things that I’ve noticed on Globe’s website. Careless? No quality control? I don’t know. You tell me.
