Apple has released an update to their photography software
Apple has released an update to their photography software aimed at assisting professional photographers in their post-production work. Aperture 2.1.4 addresses general compatibility and overall stability in the following areas:
- Creating books
- Ordering books and prints
- Slideshows
This Aperture update addresses an issue from Aperture 2.1.3 that prevented the “Do not import duplicates” option in the import window to properly detect and filter out duplicate photos. Also fixed is an issue that caused JPEG images to be compressed when uploading photos to MobileMe, even when the “Actual Size Images” option was selected. Last but not the least, the update addresses an issue that could cause dust jackets to render incorrectly when switching between the softcover and hardcover options with the Stock Book theme.
Recommended for all users of Aperture 2 and can be downloaded via Software Update utility or direct from Apple’s Support Download page (212 MB).
Aperture 2 is available at the Philippine Apple Store and retails for ₱ 10,290.00.
