AppleInsider reported that a virus database update over the weekend has caused AVG, a Windows anti-virus program, to falsely detect the iTunes software as a Trojan. The faulty database update is said to detect iTunes DLL files as the “Small.BOG” Trojan virus.

AVG immediately posted a fix but some users might still continue experiencing issues and AVG has recommended steps to follow that might resolve the problem.
