10 billion songs and counting…

Apple’s iTunes Store just had its 10 billionth song downloaded Wednesday. Things Happen That Way by Johnny Cash was downloaded by Louie Sulcer of Georgia, USA, who will receive a $10,000 iTunes gift certificate for downloading the 10,000,000,000th song.

iTMS downloads go past 400 million

After launching four new iTunes Music Stores, Apple announced in a press statement that iTMS has sold more than 400 million songs. This is after surpassing the 350 millionth mark last month.
